We as Religious Education/Faith Formation staff are committed to assist parents in the faith formation of their children and youth by providing resources and support. We do this by offering the opportunity for religious instruction, worship, prayer and service.
Our core Faith Formation program is a family based catechesis program focused on strengthening our relationship with God and neighbor, building the pariah community, and helping parents become the primary evangelizers of their children Catechism of the Catholic Church, 2223-2229). We believe that faith formation is a lifelong process, and takes place primarily within the family. Our programs support parents in the responsibility they accepted in the Rite of Baptism when they promised “The father and mother will be the first teacher of their child in the ways of faith. May they be also the best of teachers, bearing witness to the faith by what they say and do.”
